More about me
I'm Wanda Leschinsky, a qualified teacher and tutor based in Lindfield, passionate about helping children build confidence, curiosity, and a genuine love of learning.
My journey as an educator has been shaped by one simple belief: that every child can thrive with the right support. I love getting to know each of my students, their strengths, their worries, and what makes them light up, and building lessons around that. Watching a child's confidence grow is the most rewarding thing I know.

I've gathered common questions and their answers to make your experience smoother. If you can't find what you're looking for, feel free to reach out to me.
In person sessions run on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3:30pm to 7:05pm, and on Thursdays from 4:25pm to 6:10pm. Online sessions are available on Wednesday mornings and Thursday mornings. All sessions take place during term time only. A newsletter with upcoming term dates is sent out before each new term in August, December and April.
You can book using my booking system Calendly. When slot is booked, you'll be asked to complete a booking form with your child's details before their place is confirmed. Some time slots do have a waitlist. If the slot you would like is unavaible, please contact me and I'll be in touch as soon as a place becomes available.
Both options are available depending on the slot. Some sessions are one to one and others are paired, meaning your child shares the lesson with one other pupil. Paired sessions are available at a lower rate. Current availability for each slot type can be found on the booking page.
Two invoices are sent per term by email. The first covers the start of term to half term, and the second covers half term to the end of term. If a lesson is cancelled with at least 24 hours notice, a refund will be applied to the following invoice. Please note that one cancellation per half term is permitted at no charge.
Please give at least 24 hours' notice if your child is unable to attend — emergencies are of course understood. One cancellation per half-term is permitted, and a refund (less the venue hire fee) will be applied to your next invoice. Any additional missed lessons will be charged at the normal rate.
